Turtle Jumps Ship

I’m 2.5 pages into the moleskine swap. It’s a bit terrifying. I can’t imagine putting my pen to someone else’s page when I was so paralyzed by my own. Decided against doing a theme for the group to follow, but I like the metaphor of starting with jigsaw pieces. Each fragment contributing to the whole.
I hope the little critter who jumped ship will give the next artist something to work with. The woodgrain background was a last minute addition to “ground” the artwork and I feel like the right edge is a little too harsh. May try to soften it up with something tomorrow.
